Providing shelter and support
The Foundation of Edward Storey has been providing shelter and support to women in need for more than 300 years. Since it was founded in 1693 the Foundation has grown and modernised but we are still committed to the same principles.
We now have 92 purpose built sheltered flats and give grants to those who meet our eligibility criteria.
We are registered with the Charity Commission (Charity Number 203653) and run in accordance with a comprehensive Scheme sealed on 1 April 2009 and amended on 31 December 2018 and 28 January 2025.
